My name is Navid aka Mordab (meaning marsh). I was born on July 9th 1989 in Mashhad.
I'm one of the first rappers born in Mashhad.
I first became familiar with rap music through a friend when I was only 11 years old (in 2000).
I knew that Tupac Shakur was one of the greatest rappers in hip hop history.
Due to the fact that the whole idea of hip-hop is illegal in Iran, any kind of rap song couldn't be officially released or sold in public. And because they were against the law, they were called underground music. I recorded my first album with five tracks almost 7 years ago. The two main tracks in the album were called good bye my dead friend, and don’t you talk man. The name of the album was: "the beginning".
The first time I was arrested was when I was 17 years old. Me and my friend were hanging out in the streets, wearing baggy clothes and chains. Unfortunately we were spotted out and stopped by the cops. We were carrying a lot of color sprays with us. It was too late to escape or even get rid of the sprays. One thing led to another and we ended up in court. We were set free on bail and 3 months probation. I have had many other major problems with the police over many other small issues.


نوید مرداب در هجدهم تیر ماه سال یکهزار و سیصد و شصت و هشت هجری شمسی در شهر مشهد به دنیا آمده است . برای اولین بار در 11 سالگی با موسیقی رپ آشنا شد و در سال 1381 خورشیدی فعالیت خود را در زمینه موسیقی رپ فارسی به صورت آماتور آغاز کرد و پس از اتفاقاتی که برای او در گروه 051 پیش آمد.لغب مرداب را انتخاب و تنها تشکل فعال شهر مشهد "0511" را تاسیس کرد و تا به امروز هم در آن فعالیت دارد.در سال 1389 توانست گروه های دارای فرهنگ هیپ هاپ شهر مشهد را به دور هم جمع و با هم متحد کند .وی همچنین هنرمندان زیادی را حمایت و به جامعه موسیقی مشهد معرفی کرده است در حال حاضر در حال تهیه آلبومی به اسم سلام می باشد. موضوعات اکثر رپ نوشته هایش اجتماعی و فلسفی میباشد.
