Nor Dar is a jazz trio featuring Kora Michaelian (piano), Tigran Sarkissian (woodwings) and Orestis Moustidis (percussion). The band combines Armenian traditional music with modern orchestration and jazz and classical influences. Their first album “Opus of the Lizard” was dedicated to the Armenian composer and musician Komitas Vardapet (Soghomon Soghomonian). Their second album “Ampela” was composed by Kora Michaelain and featured Indian singer Lakshmi Shankar on vocals. Read more on Last.fm.
