My Heart, My Anchor is a five piece rock band from Mechancsville and Golden Beach Maryland. The band was formed in mid-August between founding members Sean McCamman(guitar) and Daniel Thompson(vocals). The band recruited members Tyler Lagana(drums), Robbie King(bass), and Matt Jones(lead guitar) in late September after the acoustic act gained more exposure and offers for bigger shows. Since their start in August of 2010, the band has played shows in Virginia and Maryland along big name acts such as Silverstein, We Came As Romans, Miss May I, The Chariot, The Word Alive, Jonny Craig, and many more. My Heart, My Anchor are currently writing and in search of a new lead guitarist.
