Yu Takahashi (高橋祐 TAKAHASHI Yu) is a traditional Japanese tsugaru shamisen performer who studied under TAKAHASHI Yujiro. TAKAHASHI performs Japanese music and minyo on stage, at various jinja (Shinto shrine), and temple dedications. TAKAHASHI has performed overseas in over 26 countries with artists such as Ayako Fuji and Sukeroku Taiko as well as local performances in Tokyo, Kanazawa, Kanagawa.
