loveletting began in 2006 as a solo side-project of Anastasia Loupis, then guitarist and backing vocalist for underground indie band Morning and the Sleepy Kids.
By 2007, loveletting had released her first CD - a four-track EP - and was playing regularly at venues around Melbourne. During this time, Anastasia continued to write and record music in her home studios in Northcote and then Brunswick.

By the end of 2008, she had accumulated enough recordings to compile her first full-length self-titled album, which was released in early 2009, through alberts basement.

Although loveletting's recorded music is a solo endeavour, Anastasia has had the pleasure of playing live with these talented musicians that have brought the recordings to life:

Penelope Skliros (Vlady Vivaldi, Morning and the Sleepy Kids, death-board, cakelust, Cub II); Christian Bizzarri (The Girlfriend Pillow, Morning and the Sleepy Kids, cakelust); Thomas Mendelovits (Milk Teddy, PJ's Actor Buddhists) and; Coen Laidlaw (The Breaks, Calico Jacks).

loveletting is now taking a new turn, with the introduction of the weeping hearts:
Michael Zulicki (The Frightening Lights, Patinka Cha Cha, Mad Nanna, Seagull); Jill Cox (who has played percussion and backing vocals right from the beginning) and; Martin Gladman (Scout! Scout!).
