2. If at first you fail, to hell with it. But then again, we just couldn’t give up and you had it coming for some time. I know, enough to gag a maggot. Now we proudly present what could not be presented. If it offends your ear, plug your own ass. It’s finished, stick a fork in it. No, still better, stick a corkscrew in it. The Corkscrews would like to thank your mum and dad for giving you enough pocket money to buy this CD (and then some), a special thanks goes to those grandmas whom you robbed of their pensions, because we spent the hard-earned savings of our parents’ to get to the studio (either they pay or we get them into therapy for emotional incest). As you can hear, we just couldn’t draw a line – a normal R’n’R band would have spread this material over a lifetime, but not us, we prefer hasty orisons, because “future is uncertain and the end is always near”. We thus continue to support space research and pollution of vacant planets and zero tolerance for zero thinking, as we can’t think of a more urgent issue in these trying times. A late Slovenian singer said: “It’s not what you sing, it’s what you shout”. We are glad you don’t understand a word of our lyrics, because neither can we. The sick bloke who wrote them is being treated for a serious case of “can’t-get-the-message-through syndrome”, lethal, fatal, terminal, irreversible and in other ways funny condition. Do it your own way, so everyone will work hard on you, people adore gaping wounds no amount of hatred could feel.
