Electric Umbrella is an Alternative Rock band who came together in 2007, it is made up of 3 musicians from the East Leeds area in West Yorkshire, they are comprised of Alex Walker (Lead Vocals, Guitar) his brother Matt Walker (Bass, Backing Vocals) and their best friend Jamie Stringer (Drums).

Their bassist Matt describes their music style as "Rock with a pinch of Funk"; they have won the 'Leeds High School Battle of the Bands' in 2008 and 'Turn It Up!' as part of the 'I Love South Leeds Festival' also of 2008.

As a band they spend most of their time playing gigs around Leeds to significantly large crowds and recording demos in whatever way they can, as of 2008 they have a self titled Ep of a boot-leg nature made mainly of Demos and Live tracks, also available buttons and badges also available.
