Co-leader of 80's jangle-pop band the db's with Chris Stamey. Continued the db's after Stamey's departure. Reunited with Stamey for one album (MAVERICKS) in 1991. Auxillary member of OUT OF TIME-era R.E.M. In the mid to late 90's, joined with Susan Cowsill (Cowsills), Vicki Peterson (Bangles) and others to form Continental Drifters.
