Born at Pete’s Candy Store in Brooklyn NY, Tucked In began with an open mic encounter between vocalist Gunnar Flinchum and guitarist Shae Ferguson. Driven by folk and blues influences, the duo honed in on original songs written by Flinchum from his days in hometown Vero Beach, Florida. The addition of bassist Evan Bakker, drummer Connor Lord and pianist/producer Andrew Holzberger led to a fully collaborative project which can be heard in their first EP ‘Elk’.

Tucked In built their following in NYC from the ground up beginning in staple venues like Pianos and Rockwood in the Lower East Side. They have since earned a home at Mercury Lounge performing along side NYC’s top upcoming bands. The band has continued to branch out performing in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Virginia, and Florida. They are set to be back in NYC performing at Bowery Ballroom January 7th, 2022. They are currently based in rural Pennsylvania with their primary focus on writing and releasing new music. Tucked In's latest single, ‘Not The Same', released in December, is the first taste of what’s to come on their next EP, vibrant instrumentation, bright melodies and all around positive vibes. Tucked In is holding on to the beachy roots of their top streaming song ‘Things She Wore’ and adding more and more layers with each release.
