In Sterio was formed in January of 2007, and has since been performing at high schools, colleges & flute festivals throughout the country promoting awareness of instrumental music. In Sterio recently performed at the 2008 NFA Convention in Kansas City and was chosen to perform at the 2009 NFA Convention in New York City as well. Flutists & Miyazawa Artists Shivhan Dohse and Erica Peel share a unique vision of bringing the innovative and distinctive sounds of In Sterio to listeners of all musical preferences. In Sterio's repertoire is quite diverse, including not only Classical styles, but Irish/Folk, Funk, R&B, Rock, World and New Age music. They are always striving to find contemporary sounds that are both compelling and entertaining. The long term vision is to collaborate with artists in every musical genre, expanding the minds of performers and listeners, and challenging the conventional ideas of the flute sound and repertoire.
