1) Cryer - A 1980's rock band (as opposed to Metal) from Birmingham, heavily influenced by Deep Purple. Released a self financed single, titled "The Visionary" by the winner of a local radio contest. Broke up, then had an album released under the name "Force" so reformed. Then broke up again. Guitarist Stu now plays in comedy tribute band "Ian The Goat Sings Black sabbath". They are better than the name would suggest. Graham careless now sings in the band bat hat harry and still has the same good vocals the original album was set me free from this pain in my head from force

2) CRYER is the blackened folk, ambient, dreampop, conceptual sound art project of Charlie Cryer. Originally from Aotearoa (New Zealand) they were a member of New Zealand bands Greenfog, NIISA and Couchmaster among others. Cryer is heavily influenced by Grouper, Paysage D'hiver, Harold Budd and sacred music. They currently live somewhere in europe and okay shows rarely.
