Digital moss is a side project of Evgenii, a member of the electronic/post-rock trio I Am Waiting for You Last Summer. In the span of 8 years of existence the band played more than 200 shows in 15 countries, including SXSW and Magnetic Fields.In his works the producer paints a dystopian world of near future, where hope glows dimly among the dust and ash clad skyscrapers.

Bright and firm melodies descend into chaotic arpeggios,while deep and static bass gets modulated as if the time gets sped up and the thick fog covering the city implodes into a solid, heavy clot. It is a mere annihilation described in musical terms.

Evgenii’s approach to music is minimalistic: when composing or playing live, producer uses only 2 voices on his modular synth. This however doesn’t prevent him from creating multilayered sound landscapes, that effortlessly allow you to get lost both in space and time. Read more on Last.fm.
