Jme Medina is a Christian Artist & Songwriter born and raised in the city known for its sin- Las Vegas, NV, but now currently resides in a city known for its Christian music (Nashville, TN area). Despite having to face the obstacles of growing up in poverty, drug laden environments,domestic violence, foster homes, and sometimes homelessness, nothing has stopped this jewel from letting her light shine in the darkness!

Jme has a voice that carries an anointing that few artists display, and her songs can go from making your head bounce to a place that brings you to your knees in worship in an instant. She is driven with a passion to inspire people to pursue a deeply intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Spending any amount of time with her or her music will leave a lasting impression on your heart. When asked why she chose to do Christian music as opposed to any other genre, she responds:

"I realize that the only thing that matters in this life is what we do for and with God. I don't have time to waste on singing or writing songs that don't glorify or honor God. I want to invest in things that last for eternity. I don't want to show up empty hearted or handed when my time comes to stand before God's throne and he asks what I did with the gifts he gave me. So here I am. Ready and willing to go where I am called! If I can be used to plant even the smallest of seeds to help encourage a person to grow in their faith and walk with the Lord, or to help show someone in darkness the light, then its all worth it.!"

Jmes debut CD "Lay It Down" was produced by highly acclaimed artist/producer John Katina of The Katinas, Kene Ghost Bell (Stacie Orrico, Out of Eden, Grits, etc), David Rogers (Baby Bash, Nino Brown, Remnant), and the late Jerome Jefferson. Writers on the album include Jme Medina, John Katina, James Katina, Sharee Katina, Kene Bell, and Chris Faulk (Jaci Velasquez, The Katinas, Amy Grant..).

Jme digitally released her second CD Dear Jesus" on July 5th, 2013, and it will physically release to the public on Sept 14th, 2013! It was produced 5 time Dove Award Nominee and Producer Victor "Liquid" Oquendo(Toby Mac, Julissa, Out of Eden, Grits, Dj Maj, John Reuben, MTV, The WB's, America's Top Model,Petey Pablo, Liquid, etc...) and also had some production by David Browning (Natalie Grant), and Grammy award winner Richie Pena!

She has shared the stage with artists such as: Newsboys, The Afters, Jamie Grace, Aaron Schust, Natalie Grant, The Katinas, Zoe girl, Jaci Velasquez, Casting Crowns, Danity Kane, Tammy Trent, Russ Lee, Kara, The Godkinz, Paul Wright, Unspoken, Seventh time Down, Everyday Sunday, Mercy Me, Chris Tomlin, Petra, Falling Up, Rachael Lampa, Brandon Heath, Amy Grant, Stellar Kart, Salvador, Grits, Barlow Girl,2-Five, KJ-52, Hawk Nelson, Ricki B, Prime Minister, SOP, George Huff (American I dol), Mandisa (American Idol), Brock Gill, Starfield, Kirk Franklin, and Israel Houghton (w/Remnant), Ashanti, among many others!
She has performed in venues ranging from small intimate settings to military bases, Carnival Cruise lines, Major Convention Centers., numerous church congregations, youth and college groups, high schools,elementary schools, the Las Vegas Strip, and a number of outside special events and major festivals.

She was also featured as LATIN ARTIST SPOTLIGHT for Christian Activities Magazine (Nashville, TN) and was nominated for best new Positive/Christian Artist for the LAS VEGAS Music Awards.

Jme's heart and vision has much to do with her life experience and desire to encourage, inspire, and edify the body of Christ. Due to the style of her music, she is able to attract a widely diverse audience while crossing cultural and spiritual barriers. She attracts the lost and hurting with her light that is so evident in her lyrics and music.
