The Foyer Project is an experimental music duo based in Manchester, UK. Kuba Williams (of the legendary cult band Concrete Swan Dive) and Markos Vafeas met whilst both studying music at the University of Manchester. Armed with musical proficiency beyond compare and a cavalcade of collaborators they released their debut album In: Static on September 1st 2022 to widespread acclaim. It was an instant hit, dominating the top 40 for the remainder of year, with Islands staying at number 1 for fifteen consecutive weeks. After winning the Grammys for both Best Rap Album and Best Country Album, TFP announced their first stadium tour, playing to millions of devoted fans across every continent and beyond. Vafias and Wiliiams also started the Foyer Foundation, to support underprivileged children who had never had the opportunity to hear their music. This was a move that caught the attention of the BBC, who gave the duo a primetime TV show: The Foyer Project Variety Hour. Breaking every known viewing record, the TFPVH Christmas Special replaced the Queens Speech in 2022, a decision Queen Elizabeth II permitted on the condition she could perform Astray alongside them during the special.
