"To write songs is a kind of obsession for me. Almost daily I write a new song and I feel very driven... it is neverending.

When I play a solo I feel as though my guitar is another voice singing around my own voice. My solo is a - counterpoint - counterpart... another melody crossing the melody of my songs. I love it. It's my life.

I love the studio, the 'tech things' and the final mix... it's one of the best emotions. But nothing is better than somebody listening and enjoying my work. This, I think, is really the best part."
