Positive Energy is the name on which two young upcoming musical artists, Cecil Wilson and Timothy Boyd have built a spiritual foundation of rhythms and songs conveying messages that capture and minister to the soul. These gifted Jamaican musicians strive towards using their talent as a weapon against life's negativity. For these youngsters, music is a beautiful tool they have been blessed with, enabling them to reach out through the music media spreading the message of salvation across to the world. Cecil was music bound growing up along the plains of Rocky Point, Clarendon. Being introduced to music by his family at a tender age, he has never been out-side the realm of beats and rhythms. On his musical journey and looking forward to becoming the selector (disc jockey) of Turbo Sonic, a sound system owned by his family, Cecil made a bold and shocking move in the summer of 1998 when he decided to follow Jesus; he then went on leading the life of a disciple before migrating to the United States in 2005, where he continued in Christ utilizing his skills as a DJ, making music every chance he got. Little did Cecil know he would then encounter an individual who was no less passionate and enthused about the things of God and music. Timothy Boyd, who hails from the heart of Spanish town, St. Catherine, had music at heart since his dad, who was very instrumental in instilling good musical discipline in him, placed a banjo in his hand. Timothy grew and developed his God given musical gift as he was always inclined towards creative melodious patterns of music. Between the years of 1997 and 1999 Timothy traveled the towns of his country, singing with a group that goes by the name Faith Singers during which period he had an encounter with Christ and walked with him for two (2) years before being carried away by the pleasures of the world, indulging in crime and violence, menacing the citizens of the surrounding Spanish town area. In fear of endangering his life, Timothy made a smart move migrating to the United States of America in 2003. His stay out-side of Christ didn't last long as he recommitted his life back to his savior got married to his wonderful wife Rochelle Cameron and is now a minister of the Gospel. Positive Energy live by their faith and believe that music should provoke in all a vibrant Christ-like attitude promoting a positive way of life. It seems as though the gifted artists are destined to minister to the world through music. For it shall come as no surprise that once you hear their creative sound and spiritual verses behind the voices of this anointed duo the result is nothing less than a majestic flow of positive energy.
