There are two bands that have performed under the name Dorcia. The first is currently active, the second is not.

1) A London-based Alternative/Indie/Folk troupe comprised of Alex Cull, Alex Sperring, Amy Cunningham, Flid Middup, Kris Rimmer and Isobel Pollard. First formed in 2008 by old friends, Dorcia are now a six piece.

They have recorded and self-released three EPs, 2008's self-titled 3-track, 2009's Stargarder Strasse, recorded in Berlin with Maxwell Cooke and 2011's New Year EP, recorded with Dave Powell at Coach Road Studios.

At this time Dorcia are writing new material whilst taking to the stage as often as possible to promote their latest material. They have received comparisons to The Arcade Fire, The Low Anthem, The National and many others.


2) Born in Reno, Nevada during the year 2005.
