Roxane Genot is a French classically-trained musician with a taste for anything that brings her to another, bygone era. She has been active as a freelance session cellist since 2015, recording cello for mainly video games and trailer music. Among her most notable works are the trailer of Disney’s Dumbo (2019) and the video games Lyra, Stranded Deep, Exhalted 3rd Edition, Eitr and Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem (for which she recorded as a soloist with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra).

As a recording artist, she has dedicated a YouTube channel to her arrangements of video game soundtracks and film / TV series covers in which we can usually find hints of medieval, baroque or Celtic music. She released two cello albums made of arrangements of video game and movie soundtracks: the Kingdom Dances series (vol. I and II), which she recorded and produced herself entirely. Apart from her “all cello” recordings, she also enjoy working with other musicians, which is always a fulfilling experience for her. Among others are her recurring collaborations with British pianist and arranger TPR with whom she recorded two beautiful albums: Memories of Fantasy in 2017 (entirely based on Final Fantasy soundtracks), and Peaceful Days in 2019 (a collection of covers from several video games).
