Braveyoung consists of four constant individuals and a collection of others donating their input. Started in 2005 in North Carolina, United States under the moniker Giant, and in in late 2008 began to function under the name Braveyoung.

Since then they've released a 2 Song EP titled Bloom and the much anticipated full length We Are Lonely Animals comes out March 29, 2011
