Nick Varcity is a independent hip-hop artist. Growing up in the 90's or "the golden era" made it hard for Nick to deny falling in love with the craft. Some of the greatest MC's of all time including the likes of Common, Jay-Z, Nas, Notorious B.I.G, Slum Village, Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def and many more helped mold and groom the mindset of Nick as a kid.

From rapping in groups to a solo path Nick has always been able captivate his listeners with his delivery and content. In 2010 he released his debut project "Cashmere City". In 2011 he followed up with a very raw project "Avid Listener" where he displayed his lyrical skills slaying a mixture of in-house and industry instrumentals. Nick Varcity's latest body of work, "Cashmere Thoughts" was released May of 2013. Nick’s sound is very smooth and melodic. “cool music” is the moniker given to describe his genre of music by his listeners.
