- Motown’s Legacy lives on in London -

Motown’s label founded by Berry Gordy in 1959, gave the World legendary voices like: Michael Jackson, The Temptations, The Supremes, Dianna Ross, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Jimmy Ruffin, Jackson 5 and many more, their influence stretching across time and space marking many of the modern artists and the music today.

In the green residential Kingsbury, London, a very talented 9-year-old girl, Lady Aiyana-Lee Anderson is continuing the Motown Legacy, “a tiny legacy with a big voice” as Alex de Moller called her.
Schoolgirl Lady Aiyana-Lee Anderson is the granddaughter of the legendary Morown singer Jimmy Ruffin that enchanted us with the Hit “What Becomes of the Broken Hearted”. She is also the niece of David Ruffin the lead singer to the legendary “Temptations” that brought us the hit “My Girl”.

You maybe ask why she is called “lady”, well, besides being blood related to Motown, being the youngest known Ruffin, she also has “blue blood” flowing thru her veins, coming from old Bavarian nobility on her mother’s side, Lady Nicole Anderson, 34, who is also a multi platinum selling singer-song writer having had written songs for Celine Dion, Boyz//Men and also the famous no.1 hit Single “If You Come Back” sung by British boy band BLUE and becoming known as a solo artist with her platinum selling Album “Wiser”.

Schoolgirl Aiyana-Lee Anderson recorded her first album “Who I Am” at the tender age of three, Album that rapidly went Platinum. She continued her successful career with the album “Invincible” that went Gold in 2008 and the self entitled album “Aiyana-Lee” , that went platinum in 2009.

Besides the recordings, Lady Aiyana-Lee is regularly going on tours, performing on stadiums and stages across Europe, being invited on TV shows and “hanging” out with the celebrities of those countries. She also won first place in numerous International singing competitions, as was the Nuremberg International Singing Competition that she won at the age of 4. She speaks a bit of Italian, German, Spanish, and Romanian that makes her a “darling” everywhere she goes.
“I love being followed by paparazzi”…she says jokingly. “I don’t have friends in school, but that’s ok, as my best friend is my mommy and I love grownups; I have what to talk to them and they understand me better”

At present Lady Aiyana-Lee just brought out the single “If You Come Back” (that you can find on ITUNES), a cover version in a very soulful manner of the hit that brought BLUE the no.1 back in 2001.
“If you come back” it’s part of the album “MOTOWN’S KIN” that will follow at the end of September 2010. This album has songs written not only by herself and her mom, but also by “heavy writers” like American Michael Jay who wrote for Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue, Eminem and many others, Nashville writer James Breedweel, producers that worked with Whitney Huston, James Brown….and many more.

Lady Aiyana-Lee is the youngest recording artist in the World, a child that inspires greatness, a child that we should be proud of, an ambassador of Great Britain’s talent in the World.
