Utkarsh Ambudkar (pronounced UUT-karsh am-BUUD-kar) (born December 8, 1983 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American actor. He is a member of the hip-hop comedy troupe Freestyle Love Supreme as UTK the INC, other members include past and present Hamilton alumni Christopher Jackson (C-Jack), Daveed Diggs (Mr. Diggs), co-founder Lin-Manuel Miranda (Lin-Man) and James Monroe Iglehart (J-Soul).
He is a former VJ for MTV Desi. He has appeared in the comedy film Pitch Perfect as the character Donald, and in the television shows, The Mindy Project and The Muppets.[2] He is set to star in the Fox series, Eat, Pray, Thug.[3] Utkarsh originated the role of Aaron Burr in the developmental readings of Hamilton. Utkarsh was also seen in the Dungeons & Dragons campaign Force Grey: Lost City of Omu, hosted by Matthew Mercer. He currently plays Raj on the sitcom Brockmire. Read more on Last.fm.
