The Last Skyline began in the bedroom of one young man named Lucas Hobbs who's passion for music stretched far beyond his four walls. After a grueling yet incredibly rewarding seven months of time in the studio, Lucas Hobbs released his debut album "My Dream's Divorce" to the public in early February 2010. Immediately, The Last Skyline won over the hearts of the electro/pop/rock fans in the local Raleigh area and began to receive interest from places all over the world from his ever-growing success from the internet. Shortly after the release of his debut CD, Lucas received word that his music had been featured in the store Hollister as well as sold in Raleigh's very own acclaimed Schoolkids Records. With the ever growing craze of indie pop music The Last Skyline makes it a goal to not only evoke a sense of euphoria from the music but also guarantee a feeling of hope and escape from the troubling world we live in. The Last Skyline is no doubt a very catchy band but also doesn't forget how important it is to retain powerful lyrics that people hear and relate to. After having been sickened by so many of the meaningless club anthems on the hitlist radio stations Hobbs set out to create a happy medium by sculpting lyrics of much value while not forgetting a catchy melody to keep your fingers taping and your heart racing.
