The Baroque Jazz Trio was a French group who played avant-garde jazz, and who seemingly only recorded one self-titled album in 1970. They did not play music that in anyway related itself to "baroque music" (even though a harpsichord is one of the trio's instruments), instead the "baroque" in their name referred to the bizarre and irregular sound of their music.
