Scotland born & Oregon grown singer-songwriter influenced by the music of artists such as The staves, Josh Ritter, The tallest man on earth, and Dave van ronk. currently based in Portland.

The warm voice & delicate finger picking of this twenty-two year old singer-songwriter is reminiscent of the folk artists of the American sixties. Her childhood was spent jumping back and forward between Scotland, Ireland, and Oregon, and with music always as a constant, this young musician has been able to craft songs which reflect all the corners of the globe where she has called home.

After moving with her family to Portland, Oregon in 2006, McDade became an avid participant in the music and theater spheres of the city. As a teenager, and through to her first years at Oregon State University, she continually participated in choirs, musicals, benefit concerts, and contributed to both studio recordings and musical enrichment programs. She spent her third year of college at The University of Glasgow, back in Scotland, where her love for American folk music first began to blossom. After two years of writing and recording a collection of demos both in Scotland and Oregon, her debut album was recorded at The Trench Studios in Portland. To Call Home was released in April 2018.

Since the beginning of 2017, she has been working as a music instructor at Salem's Rivercity Rock Star Academy, and upon her graduation with a BA in Psychology from Oregon State University, she moved to Salem to continue teaching. She now instructs at Salem's Little Friends Montessori School as well as at RiverCity, and can be found performing frequently in Portland, Salem, and Corvallis venues. Read more on Last.fm.
