The Cotillionaires at Camp Hollywood on Saturday Night. "I want to eat lightning and I never want to die," rang out a chorus. The crowd about lost it. All over the place girls were taking off their clothes and burning their underwear, while grown men shit themselves on purpose, out of solidarity. This only provoked the sex-crazed maniacs behind all this madness, The Cotillionaires, and the party undulated on into the evening, a great big rock n' roll orgy. At one point I thought maybe the crowd would compose itself again, things were beginning to look sensible. The girls were just gathering the charred remains of their undergarments. Then: "You're pretty funny. Pretty and funny, that's for sure," another verse. That's when things got ugly. The chorus squeals, "I get so sad and lonely. Sometimes I want to cry and die, oh Lord, I feel so lonely, good thing it's only every night." All hope was lost.
