Caught in the Crypt was formed in the Summer of 2012 by guitarist Hunter Adam, drummer Brendan Carper, and vocalist Joe Russell. The three began practicing vigorously while looking for a bassist. They added original bassist Tyler Clements to the band in November of 2012, and the four-piece began playing shows in the Spring of 2013. While quickly gaining more experience and popularity throughout their native area, they added their second guitarist, Alex Kolkman, that summer. As the group continued to grow, current bassist, Zeb Greer, replaced Clements. They have had the opportunity to play with many great national acts including Sammy Hagar, Karmin, Saving Abel, Bobaflex, Royal Bliss, The Dreaming, Another Lost Year, Emperors and Elephants, Dead Horse Trauma, Cheap Thrill, and many more. They currently have their first two singles "The Truth" and "Hurting Hands" available now on most digital distribution services, and are currently working on their debut album which will be available in Summer 2016.
