Jando is at first a traveler at heart, and wishes to tell traveler's tales. Grown up in Southern France, he later noticeably lived for a year above the Arctic circle, slept on active Icelandic volcanoes, explored remote islands in the Andaman sea, and bathed on natural Japanese springs. He is a German police magnet, the only place he lost his ID papers is his own home, and he dreams to become an astronaut.
He originally leaded a post-hardcore band, but his numerous adventures inspired him to turn to a more fun, positive, entertaining but still technically stunning sound, as he composed songs along his trips, with everything he could find. Back home, he recorded the tracks with the techniques learnt from the past, and brought along with his stories a crispy acoustic guitar, some funky drums, a spicy piano, some sweet electronics, a round bass, a fantastic Thai instrument called "kim", and an uncontrollable electric guitar solo hidden somewhere. One striking fact is that he composes and plays all instrument. He means to keep a balance between "classic hits" kind of songs, and more "arty" tracks, with unique strings/vocals arrangements.
The 12-tracks album is called "The Everyday Fireworks". That's to refer to the beauty and the extraordinary that one can find in every actual thing everyday, if one dares to see it the good way. The album has been released in a digital format in most popular online stores such as iTunes and Amazon. A limited edition digipack, featuring excellent artwork by Kawita, has been printed mainly for promotional use.
