My Initials is the brainchild of mad scientist DJ Hidden, who in past and present has explored various parts of the musical multiverse using several aliases. A lowered tempo is compensated with an increase in density, as he ventures into the worlds of dark techno. Those familiar with his previous efforts know of their often unconventional approach: a unique, personal take on music that disassociates from the norm. His efforts have been locked away for years, unheard by most and only available to a very selected few. The scheduled performance at Circus Overdrive is the first public exposure of his take on a genre that has always been considered one of the building blocks of electronic dance music.
