Parallelism Lyrics

Floating vessel
Searching through time
Nothing left here
So far behind
Sacred pleasures
Spend in my mind
Broken vessel
Wish you were mine
Wish I could find

I give to you
You give to me
The debt will fall for all in need
A simple way
For all to change
Realize our lives are one and the same

Broken whispers
Into divine
Open promise
Sinks in the time
Loathing hunger
Blistering unkind
Different feelings
Youth undermines
Wish I could find

I gave to you
You gave to me
The debt should fall for all in need
A simple way
For all to change
Realize our lives are all the same

I gave to you
You gave to me
The debt should fall for all in need
A simple way
For all to change
Realize our lives are one
Our lives are one and the same

Submersed was an alternative rock/metal outfit. The band was formed in the late 90´s in the small town of Stephenville, Texas. The group consisted of vocalist Donald Carpenter, lead guitarist/vocalist Eric Friedman, bassist Kelan Luker, guitarist TJ Davis, and drummer Garrett Whitlock.

The band released their debut "In Due Time" on Wind Up Records in September of 2004.

Submersed delivered a catchy melodic rock. The band demonstrated some unexpected musical similarities to European post-doom bands such as: Entwine, later Katatonia material, and Evereve. Less surprising are hints of Canadian rock act Our Lady Peace. And sounding eerily similar to Creed this is a great band to listen to.

After Submersed disbanded, Donald Carpenter and Garret Whitlock have started a new band, called Eye Empire. (myspace.com/eyeempire)
