Fae Wiedenhoeft is a singer/songwriter from Seattle, WA. She currently plays in the band SeaStar.

SeaStar is an ocean wave, ever-changing on a raging storm of mixed oceans. Their music centers on the familiar with a dash of history, tradition and exploration. As musicians, they are unique in their contrasts whilst they forge a solid steel structure as foundation for original song craft and a temple for the wistful and the weary.

Fae Wiedenhoeft took a journey of many years from Chicago, thru Victoria, British Columbia and finally Tulsa before a rogue wind swept her to the waters of Seattle. Her frequency was overheard by a local six-slinger known as Doug Hayman. He brought rock and blues to the lilting Celtic voicings and they soon created a sound of the sea and sky.

As they plow new ground with a soon-to-be third album, they continue to play Folklife in Seattle, Yakima Folklife, the Index Arts Festival, BC Renaissance Festival, Mona’s in Greenlake, Miro Tea in Ballard and the Green Bean Coffeehouse. Like the humble explorers they have become, Fae and Doug always greet you with a smile…and they love to play!
