1) Oceans Apart are a Ambient / Experimental / Shoegaze group from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. It is a music project started by Chris Stickney (Ex-..Stutterfly..)which has since evolved into a full band consisting of six members. They have one EP released on itunes.

2) Oceans Apart were a four-piece metal band hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The band was formerly known as Empathy Takes Energy before the passing of their vocalist in 2009, which lead into the forming of Oceans Apart. The style changed slightly to a more melodic, screamo influenced style of metal. The late 2010 EP and split w/ Castle Wolfenstein (released April 2011) can be grabbed for free at their bandcamp. With the recent recruitment of their new vocalist, the group has been leaning even further into the screamo genre, and new material can be expected in the near future.

3) Oceans Apart are a five-piece indie-rock group. The band met at University in Manchester and have brought their individual eclectic blend of styles to a number of different Manchester venues.
