Perilous Time Lyrics

As I live this life
In this perilous time
Reaching my half century
Happy golden fifty
I've carried my load
From a baby to a man
Many a souls pass on Families and friends
In this time - this perilous time
Love no longer smiles
In this time - this perilous time
True love is hard to find
In this perilous time
I give thanks and praise
For every little thing that he has done.

As I walk in this world
In this perilous time
Looking back in my life
I've lived over the years
Sweet memories of love
To always keep me warm
Passages is in my life
I wish to erase
In this time - this perilous time
Love no longer smiles
In this time - this perilous time
True love is hard to find
In this perilous time
I give thanks and praise to Jah
For every litlle thing that he has done

As I live my life
In this perilous time
Reaching my half century
Happy golden fifty
I've carried my load
From a baby to a man
Many a souls pass on Families and friends
In this time - this perilous time
Love no longer smiles
In this time - this perilous time
True love is hard to find
In this perilous time
I give thanks and praise
For every little thing that he has done.

As my life goes on
In this perilous time
Once a man twice a child
Slowly creeping up on me
Hairs of gray
Covering all over me
By the grace of Jah
I'll live to see another fifty

In this time - this perilous time
Love no longer smiles
In this time - this perilous time
True love is hard to find
In this perilous time
I give thanks and praise to Jah
For every little thing he has done.
