Popium is a band from Bergen, Norway, formed in 1998. The band is lead by song-writer, singer and guitarist Frank Hammersland, former in Pogo Pops. Popium play melodic pop/rock, not unlike the style of Pogo Pops.

The group have been given the label "super group", because all the members have a background in other well known bands from Bergen, like Pogo Pops, Barbie Bones and Chocolate Overdose. However, the members say they're just "some buddies who like the same music". Read more on Last.fm.
