Bootleg Baby or Rapallo (@rapalloo) is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter, producer, audio engineer and DJ who gained notoriety by producing and collaborating with Scottish rapper, juju, and others among the UK underground trap/pop scenes in the late 2010s. Originally from the Gold Coast in Australia, Rapallo began making music at the age of 14 in 2012 before sending juju beats in 2015. He made his first songs under the Bootleg Baby alias in 2015-16 but released most of them in 2018, one of them being "R00T5" which has amassed over 230k streams on Soundcloud as of 2022. He produced every track on juju's 「Consumer」in 2020 and was an executive producer on juju's "Chiptune Connection" EP in 2021. Bootleg Baby's debut album, "I ♥ FUN", was released quickly after in August of 2021. The notoriety he had gained as both a producer and rapper caught the attention of major underground artists worldwide and was soon collaborating with artists such as: Joeyy, Marlon DuBois, Swoopy, Bloodz Boi, Eera, and working heavily with Seepy and Acid Souljah of SoEvilBoyz, in addition to long-time SEB producer Eric Slake. Bootleg Baby released his second album "BASE & SOUL" in 2022.

In 2023, Bootleg Baby, with Australian rappers Sidney Phillips and lil ket, released the collaborative EP "AVANT ADLAY". His third solo album "cottage" released in late 2024, with multiple features from Marlon DuBois and Sidney Phillips and one from Yungster Jack. Read more on Last.fm.
