Ellis The Vacuumchild was started by a bunch of friends in Haninge, Sweden. Early on the band had a solid formula for making music, melodic, dynamic, explosive, instrumental indie rock. Two demos later and a bunch of liveshows all over Sweden a deal was made with Chalksounds to release their debut album. Ellis have been compared to bands like Mogwai, Mono, Sonic Youth but none of those descriptions really fit. Ellis The Vacuumchild manage to create a sound all of their own.
