She is listed in the Canadian Encyclopedia of Music under “guitarists of note” and performs original multi-stylistic jazz-based music from her 3 CDs all over Canada and Europe. Her 2006 CD ADVENTURES OF THE RED GUITAR features esteemed guests including Harry Manx, Richard Underhill, Daisy DeBolt and Kathryn Moses. An eclectic CD featuring original groovy jazz and some folky/blues gems. A NEW release, MELLOW JELLO is due in July 2009. Featuring just Margaret on guitars, this CD includes covers by Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, done in the unique Margaret Stowe fashion.
