Alcus Hudson has managed to generate quite the buzz in his hometown of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. In the few short years since the release of "The Long Walk" he's sold over 7,000 albums, had songs in film and TV shows, and held the #1 spot on a local radio station for over 4 months with "The Apology" in addition to having "You Find Me" in the top 20 for 3 months. Great Sales vaulted the record to #19000 on Amazon.com and in 2004 "The Apology" received 6800 spins on local radio.

The latest release "The Outlier" has already sold in excess of 1000 units and the new single "No Right, No Wrong" is now in heavy rotation on a local radio station due to great feedback from listeners. Alcus writes and performs all his own music with the exception of the drums which are played by Joseph Odom. With louder guitars and a much heavier sound, "Outlier" is a departure from the sound of "The Long Walk". One listen to "Outlier" is all it takes to hear the potential of this up and coming artist.
