Flat Iron are a metal band from Scotland formed in 2006. Made up from members of Man Of The Hour and Certain Death the band first started as a side project to make brutal heavy music influenced by all the bullshit they were into. Very swiftly the band started to develop a cult following in Edinburgh getting great reactions wherever they played. Lots and lots of gigs later they have now established themselves as a great live act playing gigs all over Scotland. There music brings an intense mix of punk, harcore, metal, stoner all with a brutal heavy crushing sound. There debut L.P entitled "Death By Metal" is set to be released early 2009 on Wasted State Records with cover design by awesome artist "American Vendetta" Christian Sloan Hall. Read more on Last.fm.
