Prom Date is an indie pop/dance rock band based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The group blends a mix of guitars, samples, keyboards and vocal harmonies together to make serious music that still has a danceable feel.

Members pull influence from a myriad of genres, ranging from pop sensibilities of The New Pornographers, chordal experimentations of Steely Dan, and the alternative style of Ben Folds Five.

Current members include Brett Burke, David Fuller, James West, Nick Boudreau, and Steven Landry.
