Prinssi Rohkea ja Erämaan Rotat was founded in the fall of 2010 in Vaasa to take part in a lyrics contest. The band, which took its name from the book The Little Prince, started playing gigs and has played their own 'Punk N' Roll' songs from the beginning.

The bands current lineup was formed in the fall of 2012 and the band started to practice under the flag of Rokkikoulu (School of Rock) in Vaasa. During the fall, the band represented Vaasa in Marrasrock at Ilmajoki, where the band got 3rd place and the supportive feedback of Pauli Hanhiniemi.

The band's music has been compared to legends of suomirock, such as early Eppu Normaali, Kari Peitsamo, Virtanen, Absoluuttinen Nollapiste and Tuomari Nurmio. The band has also got a lot of thanks for their good stage presence and for their direct, cheery and cold-blooded groove, not forgetting their songs' humorous lyrics. The band released their first EP ''Terveisiä Erämaasta!'', which was produced at the studio of Wolflike Productions in Vaasa. You can find the EP from the links down below.
