Years have passed since Hasta La Vista Social Club started collecting influences from the bizarre soil of Knifecity, Finland. From a winter 2003 the band has played melodic punkrock. As time have passed the material turned more catchier but still keeping it's credibility for the genre. At first the whole thing got started with a several demo tapes, but soon many finnish punk listeners heard it through the grapevine that there are a distinctive punkband holding it's headquarters at Knifecity. The band didn't had to wait too long when they were already ripped out from their homecity to bigger venues.

Since that HLVSC has already released three albums; ”About 34 Minutes Before Devastation” (2005), ”Inhale The Evil” (2006) and ”Lake Lark White Trash” (2009), which has been succesfully spreaded through whole Europe. The band have been touring widely out of Finnish borders on countries like Russia, Germany, Poland, England, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.

What's the situation of HLVSC in a year 2011? The band have recorded their upcoming album ”Melt”. The album shows how the band have made a progress in their musical way. The songs are better than ever and they include elements which are quite common in a Finnish music, schlager-like guitaring, different kind of wind instruments and many other things – just wait and see.
