Surrounder is a punk rock band formed in Pensacola, Florida in 2016 by band members Carrie R, Ty C, and Dylan C. Surrounder incorporates heavy progressive elements and eclectic song structures to set them apart from traditional punk bands.

Surrounder released their debut album, Surrpiounder, in 2017, followed by a split 7" with Lawn Chairs in 2018.

Drummer Dylan C left the band in August 2018, putting the band on temporary hiatus. New drummer Eric Moeller joined a few months later, and Surrounder 2.0 was born. Their EP Impossible Exchange was released in May 2019, and the band toured in August 2019 to support it.
