Joe Penna, known online as MysteryGuitarMan, is a guitarist, animator, and filmmaker.
He is originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

He maintains two YouTube channels: MysteryGuitarMan, his main channel, and jp, his second channel where he uploads his making-of and personal videos.

As of September 2010, he is the most subscribed in Brazil and the 6th most subscribed on YouTube, with over one million subscribers.
His videos have been viewed over 150 million times.

On February 18, 2010, Penna started a second channel, jp.
Within 6 hours, it became the third most subscribed channel in Brazil!
It is now the second most subscribed channel in that country, with the first being his main channel with approximately 1.37 million subscribers.
