Calling the Hawkesbury home, Minus House are a three piece Ambient rock band. Employing stylistic techniques from
Post-rock and progressive genres yet being being highly interested in pop melodies the band create a unique form of , dare we say, 'Dream Rock'. Likened to a heavier Coldplay the band draws inspiration from Oceansize, Radiohead, Massive Attack and Thrice.
Entering the live Sydney arena in Mid 2011 and playing with the likes of Self Is A Seed, Jerricho, Marlow and The Dead Love. Minus House set to work formulating an EP that could accurately represent the ambient atmosphere they unleash onstage.
The result is 'Ornaments', a six track recording released in October 2011. Minus House hit the stage of several NSW venues in mid-October to support the release of the EP.
