Very little is known about Xzavier Stone - although he’s graced Fractal Fantasy with a few songs on past projects, he’s spent the majority of the last few years painstakingly developing his sound in the shadows - prescribed to Zora Jones’ 100 Ladies technique, Xzavier crafted 100 demos from scratch in a quest to solidify his musical identity. This month Xzavier is stepping out of the darkness to share the fruits of his labor on his debut album “THIRST".




This record explores the arch between bedroom love and club energy, somehow contradicting yet interconnected. A journey through the bowels of jiggy rap and experimental electronic music interwoven with beautiful songwriting, ATL snap and Freaknik flavours. As a result from revamping moods and ideas from Hip-Hop greats such as Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Pharrell, Scott Storch with modern sound design, Xzavier describes the record as “a contemporary take on 2000s Rap and R&B through the lens of a European mixed race adolescent”.




Although there are glimpses of angular club music (4WD) there’s as much sultry musicianship (XLYT), splashes of insatiable crunk (Po It Up) and delirious jams that could potentially run the airwaves in an alternate dimension (You).
