You could mope and get bored in lockdown 20/21 or you could just start a new band. You had time. So did the friends Karin Kranenbroeker (vocals/guitar), Solveig Herbst (bass) and Steven Hein (drums) and founded the Krefeld band THE YAWËS.

As teenagers of the '90s they quickly settled on a sound that all three of them band members always liked best: grunge!
