Bridgebuilder has been playing in various forms since '97. Acoustic instruments, electronic noise freakouts, one-man recording, rotating line-ups, hardcore, post-rock, and everything in-between. Started on the high plains and moved into the mountains, previous members have gone on to become school teachers, IT workers, prisoners, nomads, and professional orchestral players. Main dude Dave Johnson currently resides in Missoula, MT, where he records, plans tours, and frequently disappears into the mountains. He has played in 11 other bands over the past 12 years while continuously writing and recording music as Bridgebuilder, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends.
