1) Repent was a German thrash metal band from Lauf/Nuernberg.
2) Repent is a Norwegian metal band from Sandnes.
3) Repent was also a Norwegian metal band from Kvinesdal.

Repent was a German thrash metal band from Lauf/Nuernberg. They were active from 1992 to 2006. The band is currently on hold and the future is unfortunately quite unclear.

Within 1997 and 2004 they released 4 demos and 2 albums and were without doubt one of the best new thrash metal forces from Germany.

Inspired by the old masters from the Bay Area (Exodus, Flotsam & Jetsam, Forbidden, Sacred Reich) they developed their unique style of riff-driven thrash metal-sovereignty.

2)
Repent is a Norwegian progressive deathcore/post death band.

In 2008 they released their first EP called The Inner Core, which is available for purchase on iTunes. Their fresh death-core, post-death metal.ish sound has unique and tight breakdowns with heavily distorted guitars, and smooth and catchy “choruses”. This new and original sound makes the band fresh and appealing for fans of bands such as Architects, Bring Me the Horizon and Parkway Drive.
