Tay Capone (formerly known as Tay600), whose real name is Germontay Carpenter, is a Chicago drill rapper and former member of the 600 gang, a faction of the Black Disciples (BD). He was born on November 8, 1996.

Tay Capone gained recognition in the Chicago drill scene, releasing songs like "Gutta", "Famous (Remix)", and "Tyson Flow." He was closely associated with other 600 members, including LA Capone, RondoNumbaNine, and Cdai.

After the arrests of RondoNumbaNine and Cdai for murder, rumors surfaced that Tay600 had snitched on them in court, leading to their lengthy prison sentences. Many former allies, including some 600 members, accused him of being a snitch, which caused tensions and a falling out.

Tay Capone strongly denied these allegations, claiming that there was no paperwork proving he cooperated with the police. He has continued to defend his name and separate himself from 600, stating that he still supports LA Capone's legacy but no longer rocks with the group.

Despite the controversy, Tay Capone remains active in music, releasing songs and addressing the situation in interviews and social media posts.
